아리따운 소녀가 직물점에서 드레스를 만들 좋은 옷감을 발견하고는 남자 점원에게 얼마냐고 물었다.
At a fabric store, a pretty girl spots a nice material for a dress and asks the male clerk: "How much does it costs?"

 

"야드당 키스 한번이면 됩니다." 남자 점원이 능글맞게 웃으며 답했다.
"Only one kiss per yard," replied the male clerk with a smirk.

 

"좋아요. 10야드 주세요." 소녀가 말했다.
"That's fine," said the girl. "I'll take ten yards."

 

 

기대감에 잔뜩 찬 표정으로 점원은 재빨리 옷감의 길이를 재어 둘둘 싼 다음 지분대며 소녀에게 내밀었다.
With expectation and anticipation written all over his face, the clerk quickly measured out the cloth, wrapped it up, and then teasingly held it out.

 

 

소녀는 옷감을 받아 들고는 옆에 서 있던 노인을 가리키면서 미소를 지었다.
The girl took the bag and pointed to the old man standing beside her, and smiled,

 

 

"돈은 할아버지가 내실 거예요."
"Grandpa will pay the bill."
